United’s first bid was worth £45m plus £10m in add-ons, but Brentford insist they want more than £60m.
Mbeumo has been identified as United’s main target this summer after a disappointing season in which they scored just 44 Premier League goals. The 25-year-old has a contract with Brentford until next year, but the club has the option to extend it by a year, and he could become the second player
